Matthias Holder is the founder of Holder Print & Packaging Management Consult and has been active in the industry since the early 1990s. During this time, he has managed countless crises situations and has been involved the digitalization of the industry and actively shaped change for many companies.
After his apprenticeship, his years as a journeyman in prepress and his studies to become an industrial engineer (FH) at the University of Hohenheim and HDM Stuttgart, his path led him to the consulting and project subsidiary of the second largest printing press manufacturer in the world, MAN Roland AG, Eurografica Systemplanungs GmbH. At the time, this was already the world's leading consulting company in the printing and packaging industry. For several years, he managed relevant projects and developments in the industry around the globe.
In the course of MAN Roland's carve-out from MAN AG, he was appointed by the parent company's Executive Board to the parent company to lead the transformation and realignment of sales. In this position, he defined the global sales strategies and processes and the alignment of the product portfolio. Subsequently, he headed customer-oriented and strategic areas in sales, service and product management with global responsibility.
After further positions as Sales Manager at Robert Bosch GmbH, Packaging Technology (today Syntegon) and Group Director Sales, Marketing and Key Account Management in Mechanical Engineering at Herma GmbH, he founded his own company to support clients in transitional situations and to secure their future.
